Born in the cow-infested wastelands of northern Germany, Christoph trained himself in the ancient and long-forgotten art of using a computer for his entertainment. Passing the deadly trials of typing on a keyboard, he soon became interested in doing more with the newly mastered technology: so he started inventing stories, writing reviews and composing music.
Today, he is a man of many faces: a writer, a musician, a “storyteller” (if you enjoy being pretentious), a student of educational science, a carer of people with mental disabilities. His main goal in life is to bring joy, happiness, love and entertainment to other people’s lives.
Welcome to my blog, on which I occasionally ramble about movies, games, music etc. and write about my own attempts at creating art. I hope you enjoy your stay here and have a good time.
That being said, I want to clarify that what you are about to read here is mostly personal opinion. I’m all in for different opinions and I’m far from telling you that your opinion is false. Also, please keep these points in mind:
- I’m German. That’s not pretty in itself, and it makes writing in English a little bit complicated for me at times. So please excuse grammar or spelling mistakes, as well as stylistic ones.
- This blog is shameless self-promotion. I use it to write about stuff I like, about stuff I create and about stuff I dislike. I’m aware that this may look like I’m the embodiment of the “Me!”-generation, but the way I look at it is as follows:
- It’s training. I do stuff because I want to learn stuff and because I want stuff to challenge me. I don’t want to lay back and play video games the whole day, because there is so much more I can do with my time. The results may vary, but here’s the point: I need to present my work to other people to see whether or not it sucks, because in my opinion, everything I create more or less sucks, and this is a rather one-sided perspective.
- This blog is not about me, but about what I create. Try looking at it like it’s some kind of very small and very narrow library of stuff somebody created. I’m not important, but my opinions, texts, music, videos, pictures etc. might be (like everybody else’s). So I’m not forcing myself onto you, I’m just trying to leave something meaningful behind before I eventually kick the bucket for some hilarious reason.
But, as I said in the beginning, enjoy! I’m looking forward to hear from you.
